Encounters

Overview

Encounters is part of Airpoint's Mobile Policing Suite (MPS) of applications which has been designed and developed by working closely with forces throughout the UK.

In a normal situation, an officer may proactively approach a suspicious-looking person and many of the details are lost by the time their station visit occurs. This information may be vital to the next encounter with the same person by a different officer. What is required is mobile recording immediately the encounter is concluded to avoid this situation.
