Mobile Operational Suite

Developed with assistance from UK Police Force surveillance teams, Mobile Operational Suite (MOS) uses our Mobile Tactical Collaboration Suite (MTCS) as a platform to provide a highly visual and integrated surveillance and event management tool. Regardless of the type of activity for which a force is mobilised, it is imperative that the command centre has detailed knowledge of front line conditions so that effective command decisions can be made. Using MOS, the command centre can track all officers simultaneously through their Blackberry or on the MTCS workspace and view snapshots of what the officer is seeing from geo-coded images taken from the frontline. Pre-event planning is enhanced through simultaneous, multi-person and multi-agency access to the workspace, allowing real time interaction between event planners.
 

MOS includes the following features:

• Simultaneous, remote multi-officer and multi-agency access to the same workspace before, during and after the event
• GPS tracking of officers during event, including a facility to monitor and manage an officer’s remaining BlackBerry battery charge and signal strength
• Geo-coded, time-stamped, annotated photos delivered to the MTCS workspace Log of management decisions retained on the system for post event analysis
• Secure transmission of high resolution images available for covert operations
• Deatiled, multi-media briefings to the officers handset from the solution's easy to use briefing tool
• Fully auditable image exchange to/from the front-line officer
• Optional link to a secure CCTV module displaying situational awareness video
• A further option to link MOS to an in-car component that streams video to the BlackBerry device for edit/playback and snapshot facility (in association with Apec Systems LImited)
